Julie Pitruzzello, PPO's Outstanding Representative of the Year!

Each year Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook (PPO) receives nominations from pharmacy buyers and customers nationwide for the Outstanding Representative of the Year Award. Over the years, FFF has had many representatives nominated for this award: Tracy Wandell, Karen Tran-Stead and Linda Wilson to name a few.

This year, we were very pleased that two FFF reps were nominated: John Cerajewski and Julie Pitruzzello. Then we were thrilled when PPO announced that Julie Pitruzzello has been named the Outstanding Representative of the Year for 2005. This is quite an honor, especially considering the thousands of pharmaceutical representatives throughout the county.

Julie epitomizes FFF's commitment to Helping Healthcare Care: "My role is truly to help my customers, and I appreciate that my company encourages that. FFF's commitment to Wow! Customer Care and channel integrity make it easy to stand out from the competition."

And Julie certainly does!

Report Your IVIG Shortage to the FDA
If you are having trouble obtaining IVIG for your patients, the FDA needs to hear from you as soon as possible.

Please call 800-835-4709 or email your story to CBERProductShortages@cber.fda.gov.

Patients and healthcare providers across the country are reporting difficulties acquiring IVIG, and at least five patients have died as a direct result of lack of access to the product.

The FDA has indicated that there is not enough evidence to declare an IVIG shortage, so they cannot yet take action to resolve it. But you can help by letting the FDA know about your experience.

Again, if you are having trouble obtaining IVIG, please contact the FDA at once and share your story with them.

You can call 800-835-4709 or email your story to CBERProductShortages@cber.fda.gov.

Please contact the FDA today. Your story may help save lives.
