FFF Hosts "Dangerous Doses" Book Signing at PPO in August

Join FFF Enterprises at the 9th Annual Pharmacy Purchasing Networking (PPO) Conference at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 16 for a free author book signing. The first 200 visitors to the FFF booth, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., will receive a signed complimentary copy of  "Dangerous Doses: How Counterfeiters Are Contaminating America's Drug Supply," by investigative journalist Katherine Eban.

Katherine will be available to discuss her investigation into a network of small distributors that made gargantuan profits allegedly selling stolen and counterfeit pharmaceuticals out of garages and car trunks. This nonfiction book reads like a thriller, because the traditional pharmaceutical supply channel has all the intrigue and criminality of one.

Call your senators and representative, and ask them to sign the letter drafted by U.S. Representatives Israel and McCrery to HHS Secretary Michael Leavitt. You can download the letter here.

The letter urges Secretary Leavitt to declare a public health emergency so that Medicare Part B reimbursement rates can be quickly adjusted to allow patients to continue receiving their lifesaving IVIG therapy.

Ask for the member's staff person who covers health issues, and tell him or her your patients' stories, and why the recommended action is so important to them.
